“We drove with M. Ferros from the airport in Colombo to our first accommodation. This drive alone was totally fun. We talked a lot and got many tips for our stay in Sri Lanka, so we called him again the very next day to drive to Sigiriya. On the drive, we were able to experience quite a bit. He provided us with delicious fruit from small roadside stands, we visited the temple in Dambulla, and we went on a boat tour followed by a cooking class. The drives between the individual stops, which we spent with karaoke sessions, were also always a highlight.”
